Q&A

How did you get into sports?
I took my first steps in the sports world when I was 15. In 1993 I became Belgian champion men's pair in sports acrobatics. After a few years I made the choice to start in the national team of sports aerobics. I won 5 national titles both individual and in mix pair. 6th place at European Championships in Italy. Knowing that a top 6 final place was almost impossible at that time as the top 10 countries were really sponsored and trained full time. I paid for all my training sessions, osteopath and sports doctor myself and worked in the catering industry alongside my studies to finance everything. After this instructive period, I entered the dance world of hip-hop and breakdance. I danced with Belgian artists at home and abroad for 10 years. I was a regular dancer with Da Rick & Da Boy Tommy and Belle Perez. In addition, I worked as an Orthopedagogue and personal trainer. In addition to numerous training courses, I started to immerse myself in power yoga. I traveled around the world and participated in various teacher trainings at home and abroad. Including Bali, Thailand, San Francisco, Barcelona, Stockholm and Cologne.

In 2019 I came across RXDGear at the Fit fair fair in Utrecht. There I saw the passion and quality of the brand! I run my own PT studio and of course with the elaboration and collaboration with RXDGear and Xebex. The whole studio is fully equipped.

What does an average week look like for you?
I mainly have regular clients (entrepreneurs) who purchase a fixed package from me, where I focus on 8 important values to feel fit and vital. Every day I have 2 to 4 clients. In between, I work out for about 15 hours and I also work with Emma health (DNA and blood tests) for 12 hours. This way, my clients can follow a personal programme based on their DNA and blood tests. Strength training, yoga, 5 elements and nutrition are the basis to focus the mindset. I give several small group trainings and some basic and advanced yoga classes a week. Besides that, I make sure I have enough rest, training and time to live my mission 100%.

How often do you train per week, how many hours and what does your training schedule look like?
Monday: 2h bar workout/stretching night
Tuesday: Running 5-10km/ ice bathing 1.5hrs
Wednesday: 2 workouts strength/technique afternoon: HITT bike/ski workout 3h
Thursday: stretching/ ice bathing 1,5h
Friday: Combi workout bar/ gymnastics 2h
Saturday: Hitt workout Combi 2h
Sunday: recuperation/ running

What are your goals/ambitions in life, both personal and sports?
Become financially independent, travel, inspire. Especially to make people realise that everything starts with a conscious choice. The will to be in change. The focus to live your best version. Everything turns and turns if you are consistent and dedicated to working towards something. It is not the goal but the path to the goal that is so beautiful and so important to becoming the person you already are. You train in that awareness. Develop a drive that never stops and learn from the setbacks on the way to unity, satisfaction by helping others. From that consciousness I want to be an example myself, a role model, that you can perform at any age. I have started my preparation for competition in the Masters 45+. I am going for the Belgian title in the Masters 45+. It is a path in the process towards unity. Whereby strength, mobility, nutrition, performance and above all mindset are the values to walk this process with respect. At 50, I will be the very best version of myself.

Why did you choose RXDGear?
I got to know RXDGear at the fair. We saw a lot at the fair. But RXDGear made the difference in personality. The support and advice was strong.

The follow-up and guidance made the difference for me. They listened, gave advice and carried out every appointment. I like to work in a personal way because I think this makes the difference. Dealing with people personally is the future. Quality is the basis for taking things to the next level. I haven't even mentioned the quality of the appliances and all the smaller equipment. Every entrepreneur/CEO who works out in my shop immediately talks about the good and strong performance of the equipment. You immediately feel the difference. I am incredibly satisfied with the service and quality of all the equipment. I am grateful that I have chosen well to build on this partnership! Above all, this gives you confidence.
