Q&A

How did you get into the sport?
I got into it a bit out of boredom, fell in love with skateboarding from the first moment and that love has never left me.

What does an average week look like for you?
Two personal training sessions with Yuri Benders, one mental coaching session with Suzanne Kouwenhoven, one personal training session/physiotherapy session with Kim Blewanus in Amsterdam, and besides that I skate four to five days a week, mostly in Venlo, but also in World skate centre in Den Bosch and the TF in The Hague.

How often do you train per week, how many hours and what's your training schedule like?
On average I train 4 days a week and somewhere between 3-5 hours a day. At the moment I'm mainly strengthening and improving tricks.

What are your goals/ambitions in life, both personal and sporting?
In 2021 the Olympic Games are on the programme, that's what I'm focussing on right now. After that I would like to film a streetpart for Birdhouse. Main goal after OS2021 is to expand and improve my skatepark.

Why did you choose RXDGear?
RXDGear is a powerful and progressive company. Not afraid to think out of the box and strong quality of materials, this appealed to me immediately and fits with who I want to be as a top athlete but also as a person.
